"A Slow Healing" Dinorwic, Snowdonia
The afternoon sunshine watered down and clouds built over Snowdonia. the air was warm and swarms of midges ate us whenever we rested. There was an absolute silence in the hills as dusk approached.
The light was not spectacular or dramatic but there was nevertheless something serene about the location, bizarre considering the blasting, noise, movement and danger there would have been here at the peak of the slate industry.
